A RPG journal for Mssrs. Croup and Vandemar, aka The Old Firm.
There are four simple ways for the observant to tell Mr. Croup and Mr. Vandemar apart: first, Mr. Vandemar is two and a half heads taller than Mr. Croup; second, Mr. Croup has eyes of a faded china blue, while Mr. Vandemar's eyes are brown; third, while Mr. Vandemar fashioned the rings he wears on his right hand out of the skulls of four ravens, Mr. Croup has no obvious jewelery; fourth, Mr. Croup likes words, while Mr. Vandemar is always hungry. Also, they look nothing at all alike.-- Neil Gaiman, Neverwhere
Mr. Croup and Mr. Vandemar, known collectively as the Old Firm, are assassins. Not just any assassins, either--they are supernatural entities, capable of tracking you by scent, appearing right in front of you just when you think you've lost them, and ripping you apart with their bare hands. Don't piss them off. They are naturally drawn to great disasters and acts of evil. They burned Troy and helped spread the Black Death, among other things.
They can't be killed, as far as anyone can tell. They can be sent away, and magic can cage them, but eventually they will return or break free. Threats to their bodies are ignored, unless the threat has god-like power, but they don't want threats to their dignity.
The Old Firm are from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. Thank you.
These characters are designed to be creepy/spooky/just generally unpleasant. If you don't want that, tell me.

Killed Islington while trapped in the Hellscape Door sent them to.
Can shapeshift.
Count as demonic.
